Where to Visit

Visitor Testimonials (802)

2nd time visiting here. Very new to the world of gyokuro and matcha. Found this place randomly from google search. The cafe is relatively small, 1st time had to wait a bit (20mins) but it’s to be expected when the quality of their service and product is tip top. 2nd time, came a lil earlier and managed to score a seat for 3 easily. *Quietly hoping they expand* The matcha and gyokuro quality are really good (but i ain’t no expert) could taste the flavor and notes as described. Previously tried their waffles and matcha ice cream - amazing rich flavor. Service from the staff is good. Met with one of the tea masters - Alex. Very accommodating and helpful in educating and explaining the different varieties of teas that they have. Even gave a brief history and tips on brewing techniques. Defo recommend this place for matcha and Japanese tea lovers.

Had such wonderful time here. Been here for the second time and I love their Matcha Float, Matcha Gelato and Houjicha Lemonade. There’s something about their Matcha that keeps me coming back for more. Today they decided to treat me to a complimentary tea. Great food with great customer service!!

A good friend brought me here for birthday treat. Originally not a big craver for matcha, but the generous owner was super nice to let me try one of their top shelve ceremonial matcha on the house! I was impressed and felt deeply thankful. Will surely come back or maybe their sister cafe in Kyoto . Side note - owner wasn't aware about my birthday. I guess it was my lucky day.

To be honest, even though I gave five stars, both my friend and I didn’t really enjoy our chazuke. For me, it’s more of a personal preference since I’m a vegetarian and didn’t enjoy the fish flakes taste in the dish. My friend mentioned that it wasn’t what she expected from chazuke either. That said, it’s clear that the food quality is good and effort was definitely put into preparing the dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although the store is small with rather narrow seating, it feels cozy and pretty inside. I’d like to come back another day to try their matcha products since that’s what they’re really known for.

This is easily one of the most popular and deserving spots in Taman Paramount for serious matcha lovers. They live up to the hype by serving genuinely high-quality, ceremonial grade matcha. A huge shout-out to the staff, who were incredibly patient and helpful in explaining the menu and different matcha grades to us—a great experience for newcomers. We settled on the Yu Matcha Latte and the Roasted Smokey Houjicha. Both drinks were absolutely superb. The flavor was intensely rich and incredibly smooth, confirming the high quality of the matcha powder used. If you appreciate a proper, high-end matcha experience, this café is a must-visit!

i ordered the Reiko Matcha Latte and ice cream mochi (forgot the name of it) both were so good! the matcha was rich and smooth without being too bitter, and the mochi was the perfect little dessert to go with it. the staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt really calm and cozy. definitely will come again!! usually, i always come to the KLCC or TRX branch, love all branches as they’re all consistent in quality!

Food is delicate and taste spectacular. Immediately fall in love with their food and ordered a second round. Each main course and desserts are very well balanced. Their dishes with matcha are a must try. Only thing to consider is food portion is small, perfect for small eaters but if you eat more these might not be enough for you. Environment is cozy, clean and quiet. Looking forward to visit this place again.

Matcha lovers will absolutely be thrilled with this cafe. It was very busy, and we waited for 20 minutes to be seated near the window. We ordered matcha zenzai, parfait, waffle, and couple of drinks. The Kotobuki was recommended by Syaza, the staff who was always cheerful and ensured we enjoyed our order to the fullest . It came as expected, with bold and rich matcha. It was a memorable visit, and we will come back in the future.
